Privacy Policy

PaddlePop Pickleball (“P3”, “the app”), operated by Prism Forge (“we”, “us”), is a tool for
running pickleball mixers and tournaments — creating events, managing players, generating rounds, recording
scores, handling enrollments, and viewing standings. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.
It applies to the P3 Android app and the web app at
dinkly.net.
Information we collect
- Account information. You sign in with Google. From your Google account we receive your
name, email address, profile photo, and a Google account identifier (user ID). We do not see or store your
Google password.
- App content you create. Tournaments, mixers, and series you create or join — including
player and team names, divisions, enrollments and registration details, match scores, standings, co-organizer
assignments, and any optional details you enter such as event venue or notes.
- Sign-in and diagnostic data. When you sign in, we record sign-in events (timestamp and
sign-in method) and an approximate, city-level location derived from your IP address, to help operate and
secure the service.
- Optional information. Any optional fields you choose to provide, such as a partner name,
a phone number, or an event location.
How we use your information
- To provide the core features: create and run events, pair rounds, record scores, and show standings.
- To associate the events, teams, and results you take part in with your account.
- To generate optional player insights and advice about your results.
- To operate, secure, debug, and improve the service and prevent abuse.
How information is shared
We do not sell your personal information. Because P3 is a shared, multi-player app, some
information is visible to other users by design:
- Other participants and organizers. Your display name, the teams you are on, your scores,
enrollment status, and standings are visible to other people in the same event. Spectator/share links can
make event scores and standings viewable without signing in.
- Service providers. We use the following to run the app, and data is processed on their
infrastructure:
- Google Firebase (Authentication and Cloud Firestore) and Google Cloud Run — account, authentication, and app data storage and hosting.
- Google Gemini (Google’s generative AI) — to produce optional player insights from your performance statistics.
- ipwho.is — to derive an approximate location from your IP address for the sign-in records described above.
- Legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the service.
Data retention
We keep your account and app content for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the
service. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data (see below). Some records may be retained
where required for security or legal purposes.
Your choices and data deletion
- You can edit or remove much of the content you create directly in the app.
- To request deletion of your account and associated personal data, email
prism.forge.dev@gmail.com from the address tied to your account.
We will process verified requests within a reasonable period.
- Note that content shared within an event (for example, scores in a tournament other people also joined)
may persist as part of that event’s records.
Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and stored using Google Cloud / Firebase
infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to
protect your information.
Children
P3 is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect
personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and
we will delete it.
International users
Your information may be processed and stored on servers operated by Google in the United States and other
countries where our service providers operate.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date
at the top of this page.
